Erica Roberg Williams
BS, ACSM-HFI
Owner/Manager
Erica graduated from California State University, Fullerton with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology and a Minor in Gerontology and is an America College of Sports Medicine, Health and Fitness Instructor.
Erica has been in the field of Health and Fitness since 1991 as a Certified Personal Trainer and since 1998 as a Sports and Fitness Director. She has specialized in working with baby boomers and older adults, encouraging a quality of life through an active lifestyle.
Erica believes that clients workout for health and fitness reasons but exercise retention is due to the social environment that is created for them. With her sister and partner they are dedicated to provide an incredible environment that continues to educate and motivate clients to have active quality of life.
Valerie Olivo
BS, ACE
Personal Trainer/Asst. Manager
Valerie graduated from California State University, San Bernardino with a B.S. degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Physical Education and is certified as a personal trainer through American Council on Exercise. Valerie’s passion for team sports began in the early stages of her adolescence and continued on throughout college.
After completing her degree in 2003, she pursued Yoga and Kickboxing which sparked her interest in personal training. She headed to North County San Diego in 2004 to pursue her career and now enjoys every moment of it. She aims to educate, encourage, and challenge people as one aspires to be fit.
Valerie’s faith in the structure of SIFT goes beyond all measures. SIFT and the welcoming environment is consistently improving the quality of lives day by day by teaching people the importance of cardiovascular endurance, strength training, functional fitness, and flexibility. She believes that SIFT has simplified the approach to physical fitness.
Wendy Griffin
BS, NASM, ACE
Personal Trainer
Wendy studied Health Promotion and Kinesiology at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte; with an emphasis in Athletic Training. She holds Personal Training Certifications from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and the American Council on Exercise (ACE).
Wendy’s passion for sports and fitness comes from being involved in team sports since she was young. Wendy has been a certified personal trainer since 2002 and joined the SIFT team in 2005.
Wendy feels that SIFT accomplishes its mission by providing a comfortable, un-intimidating and inviting environment for the members. Wendy believes that physical fitness and wellness are not just a part of life, but a way of life.
Eric Marcinkowski
BA, NSCA, ACE, EMT-B
Personal Trainer
Eric graduated from University of California, Santa Barbara, with a B.A. degree in Psychology with minor in Physical Education, emphasizing in Exercise and Health Science, and is certified as a personal trainer through both the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) and American Council on Exercise (ACE). Eric's passion for fitness began on the elementary school playground and continues today. Lifetime athletic pursuits include gymnastics, soccer, cross-country, track, cycling, triathlon, lacrosse, swimming, and a firefighter academy. He enjoys educating, is inspired by dedication, and hopes to lead by example.
Eric's introduction to the SIFT way began in February 2008. He believes in SIFT because different components of fitness are addressed in one simple session. Wholehearted members are guided through cardio-respiratory, musculature, functionality, and flexibility training in one compact workout. Improving your lifestyle and quality of life by way of a celebration of fitness.
